Be a national of one of the six Mekong-Lancang countries (Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam).
Show a commitment to sustainability, community development, environmental protection, or youth empowerment.
Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of application.
Demonstrate a strong interest or experience in tourism-related fields (e.g., ecotourism, cultural tourism, hospitality, digital tourism, CBT, tourism marketing).
Have basic knowledge or experience in tourism-related activities (formal or informal), such as volunteering, advocacy, research, entrepreneurship, or digital content creation.
Possess good communication skills and the ability to work in diverse, cross-cultural environments.
Possess working proficiency in English (preferred), as it will be the main language of communication during regional activities.
Expected Outputs and Engagements
Public campaigns or social media series promoting responsible travel or local destinations.
Collaborative digital projects or cross-border youth dialogues on tourism and culture.
Local engagement activities such as school talks, workshops, or clean-up campaigns.
Written or video blogs for the MLC Youth Tourism communication platform.
Participation in regional meetings, exhibitions, or presentations (virtually or physically).
